The epic of Kalevala begins with the goddess of the atmosphere descends on the sea, and the wind and waves impregnate her into the mother of water. A bird made a nest in her lap, and the egg fell from the nest and shattered, and the fragments became the earth, the sky, the sun, the moon, and the clouds. The Water Mother went on to create the world again…
《卡勒瓦拉》的史诗从创世记开始，话说大气女神降于大海，风和浪使她怀孕成了大水之母。一只小鸟在她膝上做窝下蛋，蛋从窝落下打碎了，碎片就成了大地、天空、太阳、月亮和云。水之母又继续创造了世界……
《卡勒瓦拉》的时代背景虽然一般认为是发生在氏族制度瓦解时期，但它是在几千年来人们口头流传着，在原始的歌曲中一定渗入了不少现代的调子。它是芬兰人民的集体创作。我艺术身份带着跨文化的特征，所以在创作中有我自己的理解和手法。
